DRYmedic Restoration of Charleston was founded by David Sims, who brought a 25-year career of solving complex technical problems to an industry where precision, process, and honesty matter most — property restoration. When your home floods at 2am, you don't just need trucks and pumps. You need someone who shows up fast, measures instead of guesses, documents everything for your insurance company, and tells you the truth about what needs to happen.
We chose the DRYmedic name because the national network behind it shares that standard: IICRC-certified training, professional-grade drying science, and a process built around treating every property loss like a patient — assess, stabilize, treat, restore. But make no mistake about who you're hiring: this location is independently owned and operated, based right here on James Island. When you call, you're calling a Charleston business run by people who live in the same flood maps, evacuate on the same routes, and sweat the same hurricane forecasts you do.
